The Kardashian Barker family brought a dark and dramatic fashion theme to the Los Angeles premiere of Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear on Tuesday. Held at the Academy Museum, the event saw Kourtney Kardashian, Alabama Barker, Travis Barker and other members of the family arrive in outfits that quickly caught the attention of fans.
Kourtney Kardashian, 47, chose a vintage black Saint Laurent dress for the occasion. The outfit featured a ruffled skirt along with sheer lace sleeves and sheer panels around the hips. Her look was styled by Dani Michelle and gave her a noticeably gothic appearance.
Alabama Barker, 20, also followed the dark fashion theme. She wore a 2003 Dolce & Gabbana corset gown featuring a fitted satin bodice with lace up detailing and a sheer black skirt. The vintage outfit was originally worn on the red carpet by Italian actress Monica Bellucci.
Bellucci wore a version of the same Dolce & Gabbana dress at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival premiere of The Matrix Reloaded. The connection between Bellucci and the Barker family does not end there, as the actress also became an inspiration for one of Kourtney’s major fashion moments.
When Kourtney married Travis Barker in Portofino in 2022, she wore a Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress that was inspired by Bellucci’s style. The designer connection has therefore appeared more than once in Kourtney’s fashion choices.
The family’s coordinated dark appearance quickly became a talking point online. Fans compared the group to the fictional Addams family, known for its gothic style and dark sense of humor. One fan wrote in Alabama’s Instagram comments, “I’m gonna tell my kids this was the Addams family,” while another added, “It’s giving Adam’s [sic] family.”
