What was to be another stunning concert evening in Houston took a dramatic turn when Beyoncé became stuck halfway in the air while performing. During the rendition of 16 Carriages, the icon was sitting on an aerial car prop that precariously tilted, suspending her in mid-air and holding on for dear life to its edge.
“Stop! Stop! Stop!” — A Chilling Moment on Stage
Fans could be seen shaken as the prop oscillated overhead on stage. Beyoncé, although visibly startled, did not lose her cool and immediately yelled into her mic, “Stop! Stop! Stop!” The crowd also chimed in, asking the crew to help her. Even though there was tension, Beyoncé nervously smiled and remained calm while holding onto the insecure structure. The technical team moved fast, lowering the car safely down to the stage.
As soon as on solid terrain again, Beyoncé walked off graciously, continued her performance seamlessly, and even comforted her fans, stating, “If I ever fall, I know y’all would catch me!” The audience cheered in appreciation of her professionalism and composure.
