Hanumankind’s Heartwarming Return: Rapper Sends Love to Fans After First Show Post-Surgery

Hanumankind's Unbreakable Spirit: Rapper's First Show Post-Surgery is a Tribute to Love and Resilience!

Rapper Hanumankind made a triumphant return to live performance at Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025, energising the festival’s opening day with his first stage appearance since undergoing knee surgery earlier this year.

The rapper, whose real name is Sooraj Cherukat, took over the main stage in Vagator, Goa, on Friday night to an overwhelming reception. As lights swept across the arena and visuals pulsed in sync with his music, he launched into a high-energy set featuring tracks like Reckless, The Last Dance, Police At the Door, Rush Hour, and Damson. Addressing the audience early in his performance, he said, “Hello Goa, this is my first performance after my knee surgery… But you see me walking those steps, baby. It’s been three months now, and I am so grateful to perform with you all as my first show after surgery. Thank you for having me.”

Once on stage, Hanumankind quickly slipped back into his performance mode, pairing gritty delivery with the festival’s heavy bass and dynamic lighting. He engaged the audience throughout, urging them to sing along, respond to cues, or simply “vibe to it” if they didn’t know the lyrics, while playfully cautioning, “Don’t get too rowdy.”

The finale drew the night’s loudest reactions, as he closed with fan favourites Big Dawgs and Run It Up, ending the set on an explosive note. Before exiting, he admitted that the crowd’s energy pushed him past his intended limits: “I was supposed to take it easy, but you didn’t let me. I feel so good. Thank you for bringing me back on stage.”

Elsewhere at Motoverse 2025, Thaikkudam Bridge delivered a memorable live rendition of the popular Kantara track, highlighting the festival’s diverse musical lineup. Against the scenic backdrop of Goa’s coastline, the festival continues to unite bikers and music enthusiasts, offering high-octane performances and unforgettable experiences for attendees.
