Grammy-winning singer Taylor Swift has officially announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, set for release on October 3, 2025. The pop superstar shared the news on Instagram, revealing the album’s glamorous cover art and confirming the title.
In the striking image, Swift lies in a body of water wearing a glittering, cut-out one-piece, sporting her signature red lipstick and bold smokey eye makeup. She captioned the post: “And, baby, that’s show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3.”

Swift’s latest project is co-produced by longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, promising a return to high-energy pop anthems. Follow-up images on Instagram show Swift fully embracing her “showgirl” persona, complete with rhinestones, feathers, and dazzling headpieces.
