DABANGG 3 Music Review

Hud Hud Music Review
The third edition of the DABANGG series, Arbaaz Khan Productions’ DABANGG 3 kick starts proceedings in a truly Dabangg way via the title track ‘Hud Hud’.

The composers Sajid-Wajid have stepped away from the beaten path as they go in for different (sufi) take this time, where the main protagonist Chulbul ‘Dabangg’ Pandey talks about his valour and courage and describes how he is a favorite of his creator and is not afraid of anyone.

There are also visuals of action and also a throwback as to how Chulbul got transformed to Chulbul Dabangg! Sajid, Sabri and Divya Singh croon with the right tenor and attitude and late Jalees Sherwani’s lyrics are super as ever.

Yun Kar Ke Music Review
After the cracker of a title track, next up, ‘Yun Kar Ke’,  is a soft euphonious romantic track, which literally translated means- Like This! Sajid-Wajid come up with a superb rhythm to the apt lyrics (Danish Sabri) as the song commences with Salman crooning (along with Payal Dev) ‘Saari ka pallu ghuma ke’, as he proposes to Sonakshi in a light bantering style and she is equal to the task and their chemistry is electric.

The number is already getting popular amongst the youth and campus crowd, thanks to the simple yet catchy and easy to hum tune and should catch up in a big way by the time DABANGG 3 releases!

Munna Badnaam Hua Music Review
Two chartbusters later, the title track ‘Hud Hud’ and ‘Yun Karke Ke’, the makers keep up the tempo with yet another one, ‘Munna Badnaam Hua. Sajid-Wajid gives a superb twist to their super hit DABANGG Malaika Arora item number ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’.

Lyricist Danish Sabri deserves applause for sketching the exact replica of Chulbul Robin Hood Pandey through some apt lyrics. Post Salman’s voice in quite a few chartbusters, Kamaal Khan renders the number and tries hard and does well too, although Mika is sorely missed.

Featuring Salman in his  Pandey Ji get up and Warina Hussain looking super hot in sexy ghagra-choli, the highlight of the song is a superb eclectic dance duel between  Prabhu Deva and Salman. A song that will be lapped up by mass and class alike and will bring the house down.

Tere Mast Mast Do Nain Music Review
Two super hit ‘Naina/Nain’ numbers later, ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nain’ (DABANGG), ‘Dagabaaz Re’ (DABANGG 2), one was eagerly awaiting the third and Sajid-Wajid don’t disappoint, as they do come up with a winner this time around too.

Titled ‘Naina Lade’, its rendered in Javed Ali perfect vocals (although one tends to miss Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the voice behind the two previous chartbusters) and penned by Danish Sabri.

The video introduces Chulbul’s nomenclature by his youth love interest, ‘Khushi’ (Saiee Manjrekar), who wins hearts with her superb mannerisms and innocent ‘dehati’ (rural) looks as she chides a youthful, handsome Salman for smoking followed by the couples heartwarming innocent romance.
