Sajid Nadiadwala and Phantom Films’ SUPER 30’s ‘Basanti No Dance’ (Ajay-Atul composed, Amitabh Bhattachrya penned), takes a cue from the iconic dialogue from SHOLAY, and is rendered by a host of singers; Prem Areni, Janardan Dhatrak, Divya Kumar & Chaitally Parmar. Proceedings commence with Hrithik’s Super 30 kids voicing their apprehensions about not being able to speak proper English (as compared to competetitors), and Hrithik comes up with a brilliant idea, that of enacting a ‘naatak’ (drama) speaking colloquial English on Holi. Keeping the fun intact, Hrithik’s Super 30 perform in front of onlookers who later on join them in their festivities. It ends with Amit Sadh objecting to Hrithik’s English drama and Hrithik chiding him saying – A lot of opportunities are missed due to poor knowledge of English!
