Sports drama fans can also check out Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. After its theatrical run, the film has now arrived on Netflix. Set in rural Andhra Pradesh in the 1980s, the story follows a young labourer who discovers his talent for sports and uses it to fight for his community’s respect and recognition.
Balti is now streaming on SonyLIV. It is a Malayalam sports-action drama film that follows a talented kabaddi player whose life takes an unexpected turn after he defeats a powerful local team and gets caught up in gang rivalries.
For those who love documentaries, Land of Football on JioHotstar offers something different. It is a Malayalam documentary that follows a story about Kerala’s deep-rooted football culture.
If you’re in the mood for something fun and light-hearted, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do on Netflix is a good choice. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamika Gabbi. It is a sequel to the 2019 film, Pati Patni Aur Woh, the film brings another entertaining story filled with comedy, confusion, and unexpected twists.
Netflix has also released Little House on the Prairie, an eight-episode series based on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s classic books.
