Taylor Sheridan‘s Lioness is finally back. After months of anticipation, Paramount+ has released the official teaser for Season 3, giving fans their first glimpse of what appears to be the most intense chapter yet for Zoe Saldaña’s Joe McNamara. The hit espionage thriller will return on August 2, bringing back its powerhouse cast including Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly and Dave Annable. The teaser wastes no time setting the tone. It opens with Neal, Joe’s husband, admitting that he’s scared for her and scared of the world they’ve become part of. Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman’s Kaitlyn Meade continues to emerge as one of the most fascinating power players in Sheridan’s television universe. The teaser hints that she understands just how dangerous the coming battle will be, warning that this is not the end of a fight but the beginning of one.
With Yellowstone ending, Landman becoming a major success and Tulsa King continuing to expand Sheridan’s television empire, Lioness has quietly become one of his most underrated projects.
