Netflix reality show Lock Upp 2, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, continues to make headlines with the personal stories and revelations shared by contestants. In the latest episode, contestant Shreya Kalra spoke about an incident involving actors Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi. The two actors were earlier in a relationship after meeting on the sets of their television show Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka.
During a conversation with Shilpa Shinde, Shreya recalled working on a promotional shoot for one of Shivangi’s television shows. She said that although she and Shivangi worked on the same project, they were never close friends. According to Shreya, after the promotional shoot ended, Shivangi’s co star contacted her on social media. While she did not say his name directly, she mouthed it and indicated that she was referring to Kushal Tandon. She also did not mention the show’s name, but Kushal and Shivangi were last seen together in Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka.
Sharing her side of the story, Shreya said, “He Dmed me after the shoot. I was dating at that time. At that time there was something between Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi. I didn’t know about it.” She claimed that Kushal continued messaging her, but she decided not to take the conversation forward because she felt something was not right.
Shreya further claimed that she later met Shivangi on the set, where they spoke about the matter. Recalling the conversation, she said, “He started speaking to me. I got a hunch and stopped. Then, Shivangi and I met on the set and she was like, ‘Oh hi! Yes! He told me about you that you followed and messaged him.’ I said ‘Excuse me! I wouldn’t be the first person to approach any man. I’ve never that in my entire life.”

According to Shreya, she immediately offered to show Shivangi the conversation on her phone to avoid any misunderstanding. She said, “I gave my phone to her. She read my whole chat. I didn’t flirt back and I didn’t say anything.” During the conversation, Shilpa Shinde asked, “Didn’t she start crying?” Shreya replied, “She did cry after the shoot in the set. After 3-5 months, that guy posted a story saying that they have broken up.”
Shreya also claimed that she later spoke to Shivangi about her past relationship while they were on Lock Upp 2. According to her, she tried to understand what had happened between the couple, but Shivangi chose not to discuss the matter and changed the topic. As of now, Kushal is a contestant in the Alliance house, while Shivangi is part of Lock Upp 2. Neither Kushal Tandon nor Shivangi Joshi has publicly responded to Shreya Kalra’s claims on the show.
