Delhi Crime Season 3 Teaser: Shefali Shah and Huma Qureshi Star in Gripping Human Trafficking Drama

The Teaser is Out! Shefali Shah and Huma Qureshi's Epic Battle in Delhi Crime Season 3

Netflix India’s critically acclaimed crime series Delhi Crime will be back for its highly awaited third season on November 13, 2025. After winning the International Emmy, the new installment promises another gripping probe, one that goes far beyond the Delhi streets into the very center of a countrywide human trafficking horror.

Shefali Shah returns in the role of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, who is dealt one of the most challenging cases of her life. The series begins with the finding of an abandoned baby, which later unfolds into the revelation of a huge trafficking racket. The focus is on a dominant yet elusive character, Meena, or as she is referred to as ‘Badi Didi,’ and played by Huma Qureshi in her Delhi Crime debut. The narrative explores the brutal realities of human trafficking as well as the institutionally-enabled complacency that enables them to thrive unchallenged.

The project is headed by return director Tanuj Chopra with a robust writing team behind him consisting of Anu Singh Choudhary, Apoorva Bakshi, Michael Hogan, Mayank Tiwari, and Shubhra Swarup. Together, they create a gripping and emotionally charged narrative that dissolves the boundaries between justice, morality, and survival.

Joining her is series regular cast reprisal in key roles by Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Anuraag Arora. Joining the show as new additions to the main cast are Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji, and Anshumaan Pushkar.

Made by Golden Karavan and SK Global Entertainment, Delhi Crime remains true to form in taking on real-world social issues with a keen, reportorial eye. Season 3 will specifically address the trafficking of young girls, holding up a mirror to failures in the system and challenging hard questions regarding justice and accountability.

Delhi Crime Season 3 will be streaming on Netflix exclusively from November 13.
