Noah Schnapp, known for his role as Will Byers in the popular series Stranger Things, has shared a personal update about his life. The 21 year old actor recently made his relationship public by posting a photo with his boyfriend on social media.
He shared the picture on his Instagram Stories on April 1 to mark one month of their relationship. Along with the photo, he wrote, “One month of us,” followed by a heart emoji. In the image, Noah is seen standing close to his partner, with his arm placed around him, while his boyfriend has his arms around Noah’s shoulders. The post gave fans a rare look into his personal life.
Noah Schnapp had earlier come out as gay in January 2023. This came a few months after his character Will Byers was confirmed to be gay in the fourth season of Stranger Things. At the time, he shared his experience through a video on TikTok.

In that video, he spoke about telling his friends and family about his identity. He wrote, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know,’” showing that the response he received was supportive and understanding.
The video also included a moment where he lip synced to a popular audio clip. The line said, “You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, it will never be that serious.” He added another line in the caption, “I guess I’m more similar to will than I thought.”
Since then, Noah has continued to keep most of his personal life private. This recent post stands out as one of the few times he has openly shared details about his relationship.
The update has drawn attention as it shows a new phase in his personal journey, while he continues his work as an actor.
