The second season of The Traitors is all set to return with a fresh group of contestants and a new round of strategy, deception and intense competition. Hosted once again by Karan Johar, the reality series will premiere on August 13 on Prime Video. After the success of its first season, the show is back with 21 contestants from different backgrounds including Bollywood, television, digital content, music, food, business and social media. The format remains simple but challenging, as contestants must decide who they can trust while trying to survive in a game built around secrets and mind games.

This season’s celebrity line up features well known names from across the entertainment industry. Actress Mallika Sherawat, comedian and reality show winner Munawar Faruqui, television star Shweta Tiwari, actress Rhea Chakraborty, actor Dalip Tahil, actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati, actress Krystle D’Souza, celebrity chef Ranveer Brar, reality television personality Soundous Moufakir, socialite Shalini Passi and digital creator Abhishek Malhan>, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, are among the biggest names joining the competition.
The contestant list also includes rapper Ikka, actor Harman Singha, comedian Aditya Kulshreshtha, also known as Kullu, private detective Tanya Puri, mentalist Karan Singh, fashion creator Rida Tharana, actor Sahil Salathia, content creator Ansh Chopra, social media personality Shahneel Gill and the youngest contestant, Prish. Each contestant brings a different set of skills and experiences, making the competition more unpredictable.
The show was filmed at the historic Suryagarh Palace, providing a grand backdrop for the psychological game. Contestants will have to build alliances, identify hidden traitors and avoid being eliminated as the competition progresses. Unlike many reality shows that focus mainly on physical challenges, The Traitors depends heavily on observation, strategy and the ability to understand people’s behaviour.
Several contestants are already familiar with reality television. Munawar Faruqui has previously won Lock Upp and Bigg Boss 17, while Shweta Tiwari won Bigg Boss 4. Others, including Soundous Moufakir, Abhishek Malhan and Rhea Chakraborty, have also appeared in competitive reality shows before. However, The Traitors presents a different challenge where trust can change at any moment and every decision can influence the outcome. With a diverse cast and a format based on strategy and deception, the second season aims to deliver another engaging contest when it premieres on August 13.
