COCO was named as Best Animated Feature Film at the Oscars 2018, and co-director Lee Unkrich dedicated the honour to the people and culture of Mexico, saying "representation matters".

Disney-Pixar'sCOCO narrates the story of an aspiring musician's journey into the Land of the Dead.

"COCO is proof that art can change and connect the world, and this can only be done when we have a place where everyone and anyone who feels like another to be heard," said producer Darla K. Anderson in her acceptance speech on Sunday night.

"The biggest thank you of all (goes) to the people of Mexico," said Unkrich.

COCO marks Unkrich's second Oscar win after his win for TOY STORY 3 in the same category.

InCOCO, aspiring musician Miguel (voice of Anthony Gonzalez) teams up with charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael Garcia Bernal) on an extraordinary journey through the Land of the Dead.

The movie, which took six years to produce in a pursuit to get the intricacies of portraying the culture on the big screen right, showcases the importance of family, honouring one's ancestors and following dreams.

The winners also thanked their same-sex partners.

The film was pitted against THE BOSS BABY, THE BREADWINNER, FERDINAND, and LOVING VINCENT.

0

85-year-old Lucknow woman, Pushpa Joshi prepares to take on a new challenge in life by making her feature film acting debut! She will be essaying the role of Saurabh Shukla's mother in RAID.

Ajay Devgn, who was shooting with Pushpa Joshi, went out of the way to make her comfortable on the set. In fact he was very particular about his shooting schedules with her. He would even make sure that her scenes were given utmost priority and she would not have to wait on the set for her scene. Not just him, the whole cast and crew was very accommodating towards her and indeed took great care of her!

Talking about her casting, director Raj Kumar Gupta says,” Pushpa Joshi was a darling on the set. Everyone wanted to be around her because she is charming, graceful and has a great sense of humour. She is 85 and I was really flabbergasted by her professionalism. She remembered her lines; she was always smiling and was a bundle of energy. For me she is also a living example – if you want to do something from heart age is just a number. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and I wish her good health and good luck." Truly, talent has no age. And we are looking forward to watching her on big screen.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, RAID is scheduled to release on March 16.
