Nick Jonas Shares Heart Melting Moment With Daughter Malti Marie In Vancouver

American pop singer Nick Jonas recently shared a sweet moment from his personal life on social media. He posted an adorable picture of himself with his daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. In the photo, Nick is seen lying beside his little girl and gently kissing her on the forehead. Malti is resting on a bed, dressed in cute nightwear and ready to sleep. Her face is partly hidden with a heart emoji, adding to the charm of the picture.

Nick also shared another photo where he is sitting at a cafe in Vancouver, enjoying a drink. He kept the caption simple and wrote, “Week 1 in Vancouver.”

Nick has often spoken about how much he loves his daughter and how special she is to him. In the past, he opened up about the difficult time when Malti was born. She needed immediate medical care and had to be resuscitated shortly after birth.

Speaking on the On Purpose podcast, Nick said, “She came to the world under, sort of, very intense circumstances. We were expecting her to arrive in April of the year she was born, and we get a call that it’s going to be sooner.” He added, “We basically, you know, went into action and she was born via surrogate. We got to the hospital, and she came out. She was 1 pound, 11 ounces and purple basically.”

Malti spent nearly 100 days in a neonatal intensive care unit. Nick shared how difficult that period was for him and his wife. He said, “These angels at the NICU, kind of, resuscitated her in that moment and got her taken care of really quickly and intubated (her) and everything else. Because it was COVID times, my wife and I would basically do 12-hour shifts at the hospital for three and a half months. I could still, sort of, smell it.”

He further added, “It’s a tough reality check. Just driving there and back each day and seeing each other, sort of, as passing ships was a crazy thing. I’ll just say this about the NICU nurses, they are truly angels.”

Nick and Priyanka Chopra welcomed Malti via surrogate in January 2022. She is their only child.

0

Zendaya has shared an important update about the future of Euphoria. During a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she suggested that the upcoming third season of the series might be its last. When asked by host Drew Barrymore if season three would mark the end, Zendaya responded, “I think so, yeah.” When the question was repeated, she again said, “Yes, I think so.”

Zendaya also spoke about how meaningful the show has been to her. Talking about her character Rue, she said, “Euphoria cracked my heart open. Rue taught me so much about life … that crew has also seen me grow up. I owe so much to that show. Rue taught me so much about empathy and about redemption. She taught me a lot, and I’m very grateful for all of it.” Her comments reflect the emotional connection she has developed with both the character and the team behind the series.

The third season of Euphoria will have 8 episodes and is set to premiere this Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO and HBO Max. This release comes after a gap of four years since the previous season. The new season will show a major change in the storyline. According to creator Sam Levinson, the story will move forward in time. The characters, who were earlier shown as high school students, will now appear five years older as young adults dealing with different life situations. In the case of Rue, the story will follow her as she faces dangerous challenges, including running from drug lords in Mexico.

Levinson explained his approach to the series by saying, “I wanted to create a mosaic of these outsider characters and people who were on the fringes, who were dealing with addiction and insecurities. These were characters that I felt were rich and I could really mine, and that’s how I built it.”

The show also features actors like Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, and Alexa Demie. New additions to the cast include Sharon Stone, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sam Trammell, and Asante Blackk.

Some familiar cast members will also return, including Eric Dane, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Colman Domingo. Actor Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, passed away in July 2023.

Overall, the upcoming season marks an important moment for the series, with possible closure to its story.

Rajshri Deshpande Opens Up About Cancer Journey

0

Rajshri Deshpande recently spoke about her experience after being diagnosed with breast cancer last month. She has been sharing updates about her recovery on social media. On World Health Day, she explained that her aim is to help people feel more comfortable talking about what she calls the “C word”. She said, “If it’s there, that doesn’t mean that your life has ended. It has just begun, actually, and we have to look at it in a very empathetic manner. I feel that the end of the world is if you don’t take life positively, or with warmth and love.”

The 43 year old actor has also been working to spread healthcare awareness for the past 10 to 12 years. She believes there is still a need for improvement, especially in rural and smaller areas. She said, “There are so many taboos and healthcare is not as accessible and affordable to people, and also the awareness is less, so as an actor and a social worker, I believe that I should talk about it, and spread more and more positivity through this.” She further added, “What we need to do is streamline healthcare properly.

It should not be associated with privilege. I’ve been promoting healthcare awareness in villages for the past 10-12 years now. So, I know how in villages and tier three cities, it is so difficult to get the right kind of advice on the ground. They don’t have even the basic tests over there. So, it is important to have that system everywhere. It should not be that they need to go to big cities and get the operation done.”

She also spoke about the need to change how people think about hospitals and treatment. According to her, hospitals should feel safe and welcoming rather than frightening. She said, “Hospitals should not be a space where people are scared to go. Hospitals should be made more friendly and more accessible to people.

Insurance is a facility that has been given, but it is so difficult for a layman to complete even that whole process. People like us can still manage it but it’s not easy for everyone and that’s why they are scared. We need not just conversation, but action now. There is a lot of discussion about healthcare, but what about on ground implementation? It’s about the actions. That’s why it has to be streamlined and structured properly.”

Talking about her personal journey, she said that staying positive is very important. She shared, “You have to make others also aware around you. You have to make them know that this is how I’m feeling. That’s why every day a new friend of mine is accompanying me to my hospital visits and we’re talking and sharing. It’s also because I want to talk about the positive space, meet people, be happy, eat good food and that’s the only thing we want. Even with my family also, I’m telling them that no matter what is happening, the one mantra is to be happy. The positive mindset is necessary not just for the journey, but for life.”

Paresh Rawal Reunites With Akshay Kumar After Long Gap

0

Paresh Rawal recently spoke about his experience working on the upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, where he reunites with Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after a long gap. The trio has previously delivered several popular comedy films such as Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Hungama, and Hungama 2. He is also working again with Tabu, his co star from Hera Pheri.

Speaking to PTI, Rawal said, “It was a lot of fun to be back. You look forward to certain things in life. Sometimes, when you work with such good people, your journey is very good. This kind of company increases your haemoglobin. Your health improves.”

The film was shot at Chomu Palace in Rajasthan, which also served as a location for Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Rawal said the experience brought back memories, although he clarified that both films are very different. He explained, “The interesting thing about this one is that there is going to be a marriage and the ghost is staying at the place. You can just imagine what will happen. I would say that this is a beautifully shot horror film. You haven’t seen such a beautiful horror film.”

He also praised Priyadarshan for his clear working style and discipline. “I have seen very few directors like him. If he says that he will finish the shoot in 10 days, then the shoot will be over in nine days. He is a director with that kind of clarity. It is not a fair thing for such a person to stay away for so many years. But when I came to the sets, I enjoyed it a lot. The same atmosphere, the same spirit and the same camaraderie.”

The release of Bhooth Bangla was moved from April 10 to April 17. According to Rawal, it would not be correct to link this decision only to the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He said, “There are different ways to look at it. It would be an injustice to both the films to say that the release has been pushed becuase of ‘Dhurandhar’. Ultimately, it’s show business, so it should be treated like a business. In business, there is no foolhardiness because it will not benefit any of them. For example, ‘Toxic’ has also gone up.” The film Toxic is now scheduled to release on June 4.

Talking about the theme of Bhooth Bangla, Rawal shared that he does not personally believe in ghosts. He said, “I don’t believe in ghosts… There must be ghosts, but they haven’t come into my life. Only a few humans have come into my life who are worse than ghosts,” adding humorously that he deals with such situations by chanting Hanuman Chalisa.

Rawal also spoke about acting, especially comedy. He explained that comedy should be taken seriously and reflected clearly in performance. Meanwhile, he confirmed that he, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are also working on Hera Pheri 3.

There had been some issues earlier when Rawal announced his exit from the film in May last year, followed by a legal dispute with Akshay Kumar, who is also producing the project through his company Cape of Good Films. However, Rawal later returned to the project. Addressing this, he said, “It was not about friendship. There was never any stain on it. But it happens. Sometimes, when you are so close, you tend to take things for granted. But there is no bad blood.”

Manisha Koirala Finally Signs New Film After 2 Years

0

Manisha Koirala is set to appear in a new film after a gap of 2 years since her performance in the series Heeramandi. Her role in the show was well received, and many had been waiting for news about her next project. Now, recent updates suggest that she has signed a new film titled Raazdar, which is being backed by Arbaaz Khan.

As per a Bollywood Hungama source, “Manisha Koirala’s stint in Heeramandi was quite loved, and she was flooded with offers. However, the actress was clear that she wanted to only take up author-backed roles and work with like-minded people. She was in advanced talks for a film featuring a young actor, but it didn’t materialize; the film was also shelved later. Meanwhile, Raazdar came her way, and it ticked all the boxes for her. That’s how she signed the film.”

Reports indicate that Raazdar has already begun production earlier this year. The team first completed a 25 day shooting schedule in Bhopal and then moved to Mumbai for another 10 day schedule. The film features Manisha Koirala alongside Arbaaz Khan and Bhuvan Arora, who is known for his work in Farzi. Bhuvan confirmed his involvement and said, “I was working with Arbaaz Khan (in Raazdar), and he also guided me on how to make it easier for the mother, which is the top priority.”

Manisha Koirala began her film career with Saudagar, directed by Subhash Ghai. Over the years, she appeared in several well known films such as 1942: A Love Story, Bombay, Dil Se, Khamoshi: The Musical, and Mann. Even though some of her early films did not do well commercially, she became known for her strong acting skills.

In 2012, she was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer and stepped away from films for treatment. She received care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and was declared cancer free in 2013. After taking a break for 5 years, she returned to acting with films like Dear Maya, Lust Stories, and Sanju, which were appreciated by both audiences and critics.

Her upcoming film Raazdar marks another step in her ongoing acting career.

He shared that ZEE5 supported his vision of telling stories that reflect local language, culture and surroundings, which gave him the confidence to shape the narrative the way he wanted. He also said that working with Daali Pictures for his OTT debut has been special because they genuinely encourage new ideas and fresh talent.

Check out Ella Langley – Choosin’ Texas Song Lyrics

Just when I thought I got him to fall in love with Tennessee
I shoulda known better than to take him back to Abilene
I put him right back into her arms
I wasn’t a match for that kind of spark

She’s from Texas, I can tell by the way
He’s two-steppin’ ’round the room
And judgin’ by the smile that’s written on his face
There’s nothin’ I can do
It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see
A cowboy always finds a way to leave
Drinkin’ Jack all by myself
He’s choosin’ Texas, I can tell

Well, I guess he forgot about the Smoky Mountain rain
Them old Hank tunes, the Memphis blues we used to sing
He always loved “Amarillo by Morning”
I should’ve taken that as a warnin’

She’s from Texas, I can tell by the way
He’s two-steppin’ ’round the room
And judgin’ by the smile that’s written on his face
There’s nothin’ I can do
It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see
A cowboy always finds a way to leave
Drinkin’ Jack all by myself
He’s choosin’ Texas, I can tell

When I’m eastbound and down, and I can’t help but cry
‘Cause I-40 gets lonelier with every mile
I’ll know that his mind wasn’t ever gonna change
‘Cause his heart still belongs to the Lone Star State

She’s from Texas, I can tell by the way
He’s two-steppin’ ’round the room
And judgin’ by the smile that’s written on his face
There’s nothin’ I can do, naw, yeah
It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see
A cowboy always finds a way to leave
Drinkin’ Jack all by myself
He’s choosin’ Texas, I can tell, no
Drinkin’ Jack all by myself
He’s choosin’ Texas, I can tell

Come on, baby
Oh yeah
Just when I thought I got him to fall in love with Tennessee

Lamar Odom Rewrites the Narrative Around Khloé Kardashian and His Survival

0

When near-death stories get told in public, they rarely stay simple. And now, years after one of the most shocking celebrity medical emergencies, Lamar Odom is reshaping the narrative that the world thought it understood. In a recent interview, Odom addressed the long-standing belief that Khloé Kardashian “saved his life” during his 2015 overdose. His response was calm, but it changed everything. “In some ways,” he said. “God saved my life.” Not Khloé. Not doctors. Not circumstances. God.

That one statement shifts the entire emotional framing of the story. For years, the public narrative was clear. Khloé stayed by his side. She delayed their divorce. She took control of his care. She fought for his survival when things looked impossible.

And to be fair, even Odom acknowledges that. “She took care of me,” he admits. But what he is doing now is separating care from credit.

And that distinction matters.

Because celebrity stories often get simplified into heroes and victims. Into saviors and survivors. Into clean narratives that audiences can easily consume.

But real life is never that clean. Odom’s comments also push back on one of the most controversial claims from the documentary.

Khloé had alleged that Odom’s father wanted to pull the plug on him during his coma, and only backed off after she intervened. Odom doesn’t believe that. He says that version of events does not match the father he knew. And suddenly, the story becomes less about what happened and more about who controls the narrative. That is where things get complicated.

Because both versions can exist emotionally, even if they conflict factually. Khloé’s experience was that of someone holding everything together during chaos. Odom’s experience is that of someone who came back from the edge and attributes that survival to something bigger than everyone involved.

Neither cancels the other. But they do challenge the idea that there is only one truth. There is also something deeper here. Odom is not just correcting facts. He is reclaiming agency.

By saying “God saved me,” he takes back ownership of his survival. He moves the story away from dependency and toward belief, resilience, and personal meaning.

And that is powerful. But it also leaves the audience in an uncomfortable space.

Because if Khloé was not the sole reason he survived, then what does that mean for everything we thought we knew?

Was it exaggerated? Misinterpreted? Or simply a different perspective shaped by trauma? This is the reality of modern celebrity culture.

Stories are told in real time, across interviews, shows, documentaries, and social media. And over time, those stories evolve.

Sometimes, they contradict each other. What remains undeniable is this. Lamar Odom survived something that very few people do. And Khloé Kardashian was part of that journey, whether as caretaker, support system, or simply someone who refused to walk away.

But survival stories are never owned by just one person. They are lived, remembered, and retold differently by everyone involved. And this time, Odom is telling it his way.
