Director Boyapati Sreenu’s highly anticipated action entertainer, ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has reportedly been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). While no official confirmation has been made, sources suggest the film has a runtime of 166 minutes (2 hours 44 minutes) and is slated to release on December 5, 2025.
The announcement coincides with a new teaser released by production house 14 Reels Plus. Sharing it on X, the producers described it as: “Every frame, every shot shows THE DIVINE FURY. #Akhanda2 massive Thaandavam teaser out now. Be brave.” It emphasizes the protagonist’s divine powers as he battles black magic sorcerers aiding the country’s adversaries, promising intense action sequences.
Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta, and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri, the film is in its final post-production stage. Boyapati Sreenu, known for blockbuster action dramas, is reportedly elevating the sequel with a larger-than-life narrative and grand cinematic spectacle.
