Anushka Shetty’s first look from the film which has been the talk of the town, Ghaati was revealed on November 7, 2024, her birthday, and it sent fans into a frenzy. This is once again her film with director Krish Jagarlamudi after their film Vedam in 2010. The motion poster featuring Anushka Shetty in the first look is said to be shared by UV Creations on X (previously Twitter) Anushka appears in this look to be quite intense and fierce.
The photograph shows blood flowing from her head and hands as she gazes at the camera with tears in her eyes while smoking a marijuana joint. In terms of her appearance, she has two nose rings, bangles, and a bindi, which further suggest the depth of her character.
The poster of Ghaati leaves one in anticipation of an emotionally gripping and dark storyline, which the team has revealed will deal with the protagonist’s life and difficulties in a raw and realistic manner. What adds a bit of spice to the story is the tagline—VICTIM. CRIMINAL. LEGEND, which also thrusts Anushka back into the spotlight as fans begin expressing their excitement over her, many calling her the ‘Queen’ where others compare her to her mythical character Devasena in Baahubali.

According to Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi who produced the film, Ghaati belongs to a specific genre action. The film will also be dubbed in Hindi as well as all south Indian languages. The film has also a great sound and a skillful technical team comprised of Nagavelli Vidya Sagar as the music director and Manoj Reddy Ka for cinematography.
