Recent rumors linking Disha Patani to Prabhas’ much-anticipated film Fauji have officially been debunked. Contrary to reports suggesting that the actress was cast as a second female lead to add glamour to the film’s action-packed narrative, the production team has issued a statement denying these claims.
No Plans to Cast Disha Patani
A production head, quoted by Money Control, clarified the situation: “It is all a rumor, and we have not approached Disha Patani. Casting for the female lead is done, and the news about having a second leading lady is fake.” Despite ongoing speculation, Disha has not commented on the matter. Earlier reports claimed she would play a crucial role alongside Prabhas and Imanvi Esmail, who is set to make her Telugu debut with Fauji. However, the production team’s latest statement puts an end to these claims.

What to Expect from Fauji
Directed by Sita Ramam filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauji is shaping up to be an epic period romance filled with themes of love and legacy. Producer Ravi Yerneni shared an update at a recent press event, stating, “The film is progressing at a brisk pace and has come out very well. It is a period drama with beautiful elements of love and romance. We are sure it is going to be a blockbuster hit.”
The film features a stellar cast, including veteran actors Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, and Mithun Chakraborty, in key roles. While Disha Patani may not be part of Fauji, the excitement surrounding the film continues to build as fans eagerly await more updates.
