She revealed with honesty that she is constantly known first as “Suriya’s wife” and second as her own name and achievement. The Shaitaan actress opened up that this repeated mention of her marital status rather than her profession has at times left her feeling like her identity was eclipsed. She called it a kind of “identity crisis” and asserted that, even though she herself had achieved success, she still experienced instances of discrimination due to her connection with a big-name actor like Suriya.
