Mohanlal, the renowned Malayalam superstar, was recently hospitalized in Kochi at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences after experiencing high fever, breathing difficulties, and muscle pain. The actor underwent tests and was subsequently discharged.
According to a medical statement issued by Dr. Gireesh Kumar KP, Mohanlal is suspected of having a viral respiratory infection and has been advised to rest for five days and avoid crowded places.
The actor had just returned to Kochi after wrapping up the Gujarat shooting schedule for L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, and completing the post-production of his directorial debut, Barroz. Speaking of Barroz the release date of this fantasy film has been postponed again, now set to release on October 3, 2024.
Originally slated for March 2023, the film has faced several delays, with the latest push from September 12 to October 3.
Mohanlal shared the new release date on social media, urging fans to mark their calendars for what promises to be a magical adventure.
