Actor couple Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala romanced on the Goa red carpet at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024, barely weeks before their wedding. The couple was present with the actor Chaitanya’s parents-veteran actors Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, as the 55th edition of the festival began on November 20.

Wedding Festivities
The couple got engaged in an intimate traditional ceremony on August 8 in Hyderabad as only close relatives and family members attended the ceremony. Sobhita’s godhuma rayi pasupu danchadam, a pre-wedding tradition in Telugu, was held in her hometown of Visakhapatnam in October.
The wedding is scheduled for December 4, in a traditional ceremony at the Akkineni family-owned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Sources reveal that Sobhita will don traditional Telugu weaves for the occasion. A wedding invite recently went viral online, featuring a simple yet elegant card accompanied by a woven basket filled with food, clothes, fresh flowers, and a scroll.
Love and New Beginnings
Chaitanya and Sobhita, who dated for two years before their engagement, were often spotted together on vacations, sparking dating rumors long before they confirmed their relationship. This marks a new chapter for Chaitanya, who was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu before their separation in 2021.
