Actress Pooja Hegde is set to reunite with superstar Vijay in the upcoming film tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. The announcement was made by KVN Productions on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a photo of Pooja. The post enthusiastically welcomed her back to the big screen with Vijay, saying, “Bringing the stunning duo back to the big screen once again. We know you’ve already cracked it, but officially… Welcome onboard @hegdepooja #Thalapathy69CastReveal.”
Thalapathy 69 will be directed by H. Vinoth, known for his successful films like Sathuranga Vettai, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Thunivu.

Currently, Pooja Hegde is busy working on Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, who gained fame with Jigarthanda DoubleX. While details about this film remain under wraps, fans are eager for updates, especially with Suriya’s other major release, Kanguva, set for a pan-Indian release on November 14, 2024.
In addition to Suriya 44, Pooja recently wrapped filming for Deva, where she stars alongside Shahid Kapoor and Pavail Gulati, who portray cops in the movie. Directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025. Pooja will also appear in the action-thriller Sanki, opposite Ahan Shetty, directed by Yasir Jah and Adnan A. Shaikh.
Pooja made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with Mohenjo Daro, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and starring Hrithik Roshan. Since then, she has appeared in several Hindi films, including Housefull 4, Radhe Shyam, Cirkus, and most recently in the Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
