Raashii Khanna starrer ‘Aranmanai 4’ has emerged as a blockbuster with positive reviews flowing in from the audience and critics alike. The horror-comedy is taking the box office by storm, becoming the versatile powerhouse actress’ third consecutive hit in the Tamil film industry after Dhanush’s ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ and Karthi-starrer ‘Sardar’. The film ended the Tamil film industry’s dry spell and became the first blockbuster of 2024 with collection of Rs 66 crore worldwide. In Tamil Nadu alone, the film is expected to cross Rs 50 crore soon! Going with the current collections, this horror-comedy is expected to stand strong in the coming weeks.
The success of this film also stands as a testimony to Raashii’s undying trend of delivering box-office hits. In 2022, the actress had struck gold at the box office with ‘Thiruchitrambalam’, which collected an estimated amount of Rs 110 crore. In the same year, Khanna scored another blockbuster with ‘Sardar’, which earned Rs 103.50 crore worldwide.
Now, Raashii Khanna is looking forward to her upcoming exciting projects! She will be seen in ‘The Sabarmati Report’ alongside Vikrant Massey, which will hit the theatres on August 2, 2024. Apart from this, she also has a Hindi film ‘TME’ and a Telugu film ‘Telusu Kada’ in the pipeline.
