Get Ready for the Most Epic Collaboration of the Year! Ram Charan and Sukumar’s RC17

What Happens When Ram Charan and Sukumar Team Up? Find Out in RC17!

Ram Charan and director Sukumar are all set to work together again for a much-awaited film, tentatively named #RC17. The fans have been waiting with bated breath for the duo to join hands ever since the huge success of Rangasthalam, and now there’s good news — the project is officially set to go on floors in April 2026.

As reported by 123Telugu, Mythri Movie Makers clarified during the promotions of Dude that #RC17 will go on the floors only after Peddi, Ram Charan’s next sports action drama, comes out. Although previous reports had stated that the movie would start in February 2026, the new schedule shows that the Peddi shoot will be ongoing until January before Charan starts shooting Sukumar’s movie.

Adding to the excitement, a Peddi behind-the-scenes video recently went viral on social media. The video, posted by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), is of Ram Charan doing a dance sequence along the edge of a sharp rocky cliff in Pune. The stunt, which involved the actor filming a song sequence, has won the actor accolades all over for his devotion and bravery.

Peddi, directed and written by Buchi Babu Sana, has Charan in the lead role and revolves around the settings of a cricket tournament being played in a village. The movie also includes Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, supported by Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. It is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, with music done by A.R. Rahman.

The movie has apparently bagged a whopping OTT deal, with its digital rights being sold for ₹130 crore. This could potentially increase by another ₹20 crore based on its box office performance, although official word is yet to be heard.
