Actor Ravi Teja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand while shooting for his upcoming film, tentatively titled #RT75. Despite the injury, he continued filming, which worsened the condition.
Ravi Teja had to undergo surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and has been advised six weeks of bed rest to ensure a full recovery. The news was confirmed by a representative, who also mentioned that the injury occurred during the shoot, although details on how it happened are still unknown.
Ravi Teja was last seen in the film Mr. Bachchan, directed by Harish Shankar, which was released on Independence Day.
Unfortunately, the film, which is a Telugu remake of the 2018 Hindi film Raid, didn’t perform well at the box office. Ravi Teja is next slated to appear in #RT75, reuniting with actress Sreeleela, with whom he worked in the 2022 film Dhamaka. The new film, directed by Bhanu Bogavarupu and produced by Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas, is scheduled for release during Sankranthi next year.
