Marking Prabhas’ 46th birthday, the makers of Spirit released the much-awaited audio teaser of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, giving fans a glimpse into the Telugu superstar’s powerful new avatar. The teaser suggests that Prabhas plays a cop currently in remand, setting the stage for an intense and layered narrative.
In the clip, actor Prakash Raj—who appears to play a jailer—remarks that Prabhas’ character should be treated like any other prisoner despite his past as a police officer. The teaser ends intriguingly, with Prabhas’ deep voice revealing he has “one bad habit,” leaving audiences guessing. The clip also hails him as “India’s Biggest Superstar,” sparking a debate on social media, as fans passionately discussed whether the title truly belongs to him.
Spirit marks Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next after the blockbuster Animal, which starred Ranbir Kapoor. The film is produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, with Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga serving as producers, and Shiv Chanana as co-producer.
Triptii Dimri plays the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi and veteran actress Kanchana have key supporting roles. Although Vanga didn’t name her directly, he hinted at his disappointment in a social media post addressing the issue.
