Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill is currently basking in the success of her new film, Ikk Kudi, which was released on October 31. The film explores themes of love, marriage, and self-discovery, striking a chord among audiences. The film stars Sukhi Chahal, Udaybir Sandhu, Gurjazz Juss, and Balwinder Bullet alongside Gill in important roles. The film is close to Shehnaaz’s heart as it is her first project as a producer.
Shehnaaz took to Instagram and thanked her fans for the overwhelming love. Sharing a series of breathtaking pictures, she wrote, “Thank you for all love and support for IKK Kudi… running successfully in theatres! Feeling like a shower of flowers today.” She was then bombarded with comments full of heart from her fans calling her “gorgeous”, “beautiful” and “fresh as a flower.” One fan commented, “Blockbuster movie Ikk Kudi!” Another one added, “God bless you, you deserve all the love and affection.”
Shehnaaz also mentioned that Ikk Kudi has crossed ₹10.10 crore worldwide in 10 days and shared this milestone in an Insta story saying, “Thank you, everyone.” Actor Arjun Bijlani joined the celebration to congratulate her on the success of the film.
On her dual role, Shehnaaz says it has been a taxing yet satisfying journey. “The story deserved to be told, and I wanted to be part of it not just as an actor but also as a creator,” she explained. “It’s been a huge leap of faith for me, and I’m thrilled to finally see Ikk Kudi reach the audience.”
