Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda officially tied the knot on February 26 in Udaipur, marking the culmination of years of speculation surrounding their relationship. The couple celebrated their union with two culturally rooted ceremonies that honoured both their backgrounds — a traditional Telugu wedding in the morning followed by a Kodava ceremony in the evening.
The first ceremony, conducted at 10:10 AM, reflected Vijay Deverakonda’s Telugu heritage and followed traditional rituals. Later in the day, the couple embraced Rashmika Mandanna’s roots with a Kodava-style wedding, creating a meaningful blend of their respective cultures. The celebrations took place at the luxury ITC Mementoes resort, located approximately 50 kilometres from Udaipur, in the presence of close family members and select guests from the film fraternity.
Following the ceremonies, the couple released their official wedding photographs, which quickly garnered widespread attention online. Many celebrities extended their wishes through social media. Among them were Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kajal Aggarwal, and Ishaan Khatter, who congratulated the newlyweds and wished them happiness.
Sharing the wedding pictures, Vijay Deverakonda reflected on his journey with Rashmika in a heartfelt message. He described how her absence once made everyday moments feel incomplete, eventually leading him to realise the depth of his bond with her. In his note, he referred to Rashmika as his best friend and expressed that marrying her felt like finding a sense of home and calm.
Rashmika Mandanna also shared a personal message introducing Vijay as her husband. She highlighted his influence on her life, crediting him for encouraging her to dream bigger and for being a source of peace and support. In her note, she described how he inspired her to embrace spontaneity, joy, and shared experiences, emphasising the emotional foundation of their relationship.
The intimate wedding was attended by several close associates from the film industry, including director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and actor Kalyani Priyadarshan. Other attendees included Tharun Bhascker, Rahul Ravindran, Eesha Rebba, Ashika Ranganath, and stylist Shravya Varma.
In a gesture of appreciation for the media gathered outside the venue, sweets were distributed to photographers following the ceremony. The wedding has been widely celebrated by fans who have followed their journey over the years, often referring to the couple by the popular nickname “Virosh.”
With the ceremonies complete and official photos now public, the union marks a significant personal milestone for both actors as they begin this new chapter together.
