The much-awaited sequel Goodachari 2 (G2) is getting another star: Wamiqa Gabbi joins the film as a lead actress along with Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi. This news has been confirmed by Sesh himself through a new poster on X (formerly Twitter), welcoming Wamiqa to the mission. Sesh teases his character, hinting that Wamiqa’s would be a female spy just like him. His tweet reads: “My partner in c̶r̶i̶m̶e̶ adventure. Welcome to the mission, #WamiqaGabbi. It’s gonna be amazing to run with you in Europe! THUNDER GLIMPSE loading this Month. #G2 #Goodachari2.”
Wamiqa also expressed her excitement about joining the project on Instagram, saying, “SPY. ACTION. ADVENTURE. With #G2. Super happy and excited to share the news about my next. Teaming up with my fantastic co-actor @adivisesh is gonna be kick ass. Also, Can’t wait to meet #Emraan sir on sets!” She recently wrapped up a schedule in Europe with Sesh and shared her enthusiasm for returning to Telugu cinema after a decade, stating, “I’m beyond excited to be part of the incredible journey of G2. This film set a tremendous benchmark, and stepping into this world is exciting and challenging at the same time. Working with such a talented cast and crew inspires me to push boundaries and bring fresh energy to my character. I cannot wait for the audience to experience what we are crafting—it’s going to be extraordinary!
” Wamiqa’s last Telugu film was Bhale Manchi Roju in 2015, and her return marks a significant moment in her career. In addition to Sesh, Wamiqa, and Emraan, Goodachari 2 also stars Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, Madhu Shalini, and Banita Sandhu in key roles. Made under People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments, by producer TG Vishwa Prasad, the sequel Goodachari 2 will take up from where the movie Goodachari, in 2018, had ended. This multi-lingual film is in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi and, thus, would be a pan-Indian release. The much-awaited sequel for the fans who are thirsty to see an exciting blend of espionage, adventure, and thrill has finally reached its horizon.
