Sophie Turner is reflecting on 2024 with a late recap on Instagram. On Monday, January 6, 2025, the Game of Thrones star shared 12 photos to sum up her year, including two new pictures with her boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson. In one photo, the couple sat side by side on a boat, with Pearson, 30, wrapping his arm around Turner’s waist as he smiled for the camera. 28-year-old Turner smiled at something the viewer could not see.
She appears happy in one very intimate photo showing the pair making a mirror selfie. The duo is fully clothed as if they have already dressed for a function since Turner has beige trousers and a spot of pumps seen, Pearson sports a sharp crisp white shirt accompanied by black trousers.
The rest of the posting filled up with Turner’s adventures of the year. She laughed with friends; in January, skiing; and an October visit to an ancient Egyptian temple. The photographs were solo shots and ended with a cozy December picture of Turner curled up on a couch, seemingly taken by Pearson, since a man’s leg filled the corner of the frame.
Turner and Pearson were first tied in November 2023, a mere two months since the singer ended her relationship with Joe Jonas.
Joe Jonas had filed for a divorce citing incompatibility, bringing the four-year marriage to an end. In a candid interview with Harper’s Bazaar, in October 2024, Turner described the divorce as “really heartbreaking” but was more than happy to move back to England after spending six years in the US. She felt her time in America had paused her connection to friends and family. The couple’s divorce was finalized in September 2024 after a contentious custody battle over their daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. The terms of their settlement remain private.
