Kylie Jenner made a bold fashion statement while attending the wedding of her former close friend Jordyn Woods and New York Knicks star Karl Anthony Towns in Malibu, California, on Saturday night. The reality star arrived with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet and stood out among the celebrity guests with her daring all black look. The wedding reportedly followed an all black dress code, but Kylie chose a particularly eye catching outfit that showed plenty of skin.
The 29 year old beauty mogul wore a black halter neck gown featuring several revealing cutouts. The backless design included two crystal belts that added a glamorous touch to the outfit. The dress also featured a very high slit running through the center of the skirt, giving the look an even more dramatic appearance. Kylie kept the overall styling focused on the dress, allowing the bold design to remain the main attraction of her wedding guest look.
Timothée Chalamet also went for an unconventional style for the special occasion. Instead of wearing a traditional formal suit, the actor chose a black leather jacket with a blue checked shirt underneath. He wore the shirt without a tie, giving his outfit a more relaxed and modern feel. The couple also spent time with Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber during the celebration.
Hailey followed the black dress theme with a bejeweled halter dress, while Justin opted for a classic black suit and tie. Other well known guests at the wedding reportedly included Michael B. Jordan, Gayle King, Teyana Taylor and Jada Pinkett Smith.
The wedding was also significant because of the renewed friendship between Kylie and Jordyn. The two were once extremely close, with Jordyn even living with Kylie for a period of time. She also appeared regularly on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and later featured in Kylie’s spinoff show Life of Kylie.
Their friendship came to an end after the controversy involving Jordyn and Tristan Thompson in 2019. Thompson was dating Khloé Kardashian at the time, and the situation caused a major fallout between Kylie and Jordyn. In 2024, Kylie spoke about their friendship and said she had been “heartbroken” by what happened, but also believed that the distance between them had been necessary.
The two eventually repaired their friendship, and they now appear to be much closer again. Their renewed bond has also brought their partners into the same social circle. Timothée is known as a fan of the New York Knicks and has developed a friendship with Towns. Kylie, Timothée, Jordyn and Towns have reportedly been seen together on several double dates during the NBA season and Finals.
Kylie’s appearance at Jordyn’s wedding therefore marked more than just another celebrity event. It also showed that the two former best friends have moved past their difficult history and are once again part of each other’s lives.
