Hollywood star Will Smith is reportedly in talks to join Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s upcoming fantasy action film Raaka. The project was earlier known as AA22 x A6 and is being planned as a large scale film with an international setting and cast. According to a report by Mid Day, Smith is expected to shoot his portions during an overseas schedule. However, the location for the schedule has not been finalised yet. The report states that the team is currently trying to plan the shoot around the actor’s availability.
Will Smith had reportedly been approached to play the main antagonist in the film. Discussions between the actor and the team are said to have continued for around a year before the collaboration reportedly moved forward. However, the makers have not officially confirmed his casting at this stage.
A source close to the production told Mid Day, “Will Smith’s dates are being worked out. The overseas location will be locked depending on his availability,” the source was quoted as saying.
The source also claimed that Smith’s costumes have already been finalised and that the team is preparing for his schedule. If the reports are accurate, his appearance would mark a major international addition to the cast of the Allu Arjun and Atlee project.

The report has also provided an update about Shah Rukh Khan’s reported involvement in Raaka. There had been speculation that the superstar was no longer part of the film. However, according to the source, Shah Rukh is still expected to appear in the project, but in a cameo role.
Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee previously worked together on Jawan, which became one of the actor’s biggest commercial successes. The two are reportedly set to collaborate again, although the details of SRK’s character have not been revealed.
“Shah Rukh will also join the international schedule at some point,” the source said. The report added that Shah Rukh is currently shooting the final song for King and is expected to work on Raaka after September.
Raaka stars Allu Arjun along with Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna and others. The film is being developed as a global scale fantasy action spectacle with extensive VFX work and an international cast.
However, the reported involvement of both Will Smith and Shah Rukh Khan has not yet been officially confirmed by the makers.
