Shehnaaz Gill is all set for the release of her upcoming Punjabi film Ikk Kudi, which hits theatres on October 31. Ahead of the big day, the actress and producer visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar along with her co-stars to seek blessings for the film’s success.

After offering prayers at Shri Harmandir Sahib, Shehnaaz was warmly greeted by fans outside the temple. Videos from her visit quickly went viral on social media, with admirers praising her humility and affectionate interactions. In one clip, Shehnaaz is seen surrounded by fans as she cuts a cake gifted by one of them, smiling brightly and thanking everyone. She also urged her supporters to watch the film, saying, “Thank you so much baba, Ikk Kudi dekh ke aana, theek hai,” and sweetly added, “Sab dhyaan rakhna apna,” as she left for her car.

Speaking to IANS about the visit, Shehnaaz said, “We have come to the city of the Guru to seek Waheguru’s blessings for our film. Ikk Kudi releases on October 31, and we hope it becomes a super-duper hit.” She expressed her love for Punjab, adding, “People here are so welcoming. My brother is also making his mark in Punjabi cinema, and I want everyone to support him — he’s a son of our home.”

Discussing the film, Shehnaaz revealed that Ikk Kudi spans the period from 1950 to 2025 and was shot entirely in Chandigarh. “It’s deeply rooted in Punjabi culture — audiences will feel it’s a story from their own soil,” she shared. The project also marks her debut as a producer. “Ikk Kudi is my first film as a producer, and I’m proud to back a female-centric story about a young woman’s challenges around marriage. It’s filled with warmth, love, and powerful messaging — a film I could never say no to,” she concluded.
