The winner of Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra recently revealed his suffering from a disability called dyslexia. While talking with Farah Khan on her YouTube channel, Karan Veer shared that nobody was aware about it even by his parents as well during childhood.
“I have dyslexia. Throughout my school life, I barely passed. My parents didn’t know about it back then,” Karan admitted. He also explained that this was the reason he avoided reading tasks inside the Bigg Boss 18 house. “I don’t read books,” he added. However, Karan chose not to disclose further details about his diagnosis.

Karan is enjoying the fruits of success as he emerged victorious in Bigg Boss 18. He won the reality show on January 19, 2024. Vivian Dsena finished first runner-up, while Rajat Dalal stood second runner-up. However, after Karan won, many were left disappointed. The supporters of Dalal believed that he deserved to win Bigg Boss instead. Many contestants also voiced their unhappiness with the result.
Responding to the backlash, Karan recently confessed in an interview that not everyone was pleased with his victory. “Khush kam the log (People were less happy). At that point, I didn’t understand it. But seeing the videos and hearing how people speak ill about me, it hurts. I wasn’t personally affected, but my mom fell sick because of all the hate,” he said in an interview.
The actor further asked why people targeted him when he had no conflicts inside the house. “Yeh kyun kar rahe the? (Why were they doing this?) I had nothing to do with them. I wasn’t even talking about them. I didn’t have time for all thatI was busy working out in the gym,” he added.
