While Deepika and Farah have made sure to inject a bit of banter, both of them–Jannat and Faisal–have always raised a denial about doing something romantic. Faisal Shaikh broke these rumors off in a 2022 interview by claiming that they were just close friends for many years already. Besides, Faisal further added, “Logo ko aisa bohot lagta hai par aisa kuchh bhi nahi hai” (People think that we are dating, but nothing of that sort exists). Faisal repeating that just because they’re onscreen companions, it needn’t imply that there is an offscreen romance, for they are extremely close friends.
