Television actor Abhinav Shukla has allegedly received a death threat from a social media user claiming to be affiliated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The threat reportedly came after a recent episode of Battleground, where Abhinav’s wife, Rubina Dilaik, had a heated argument with rapper Asim Riaz.
Threat Referenced Salman Khan Shooting
After the episode aired, Shukla shared screenshots and videos on his X handle (formerly Twitter), revealing that a user named Ankush Gupta had threatened him via Instagram. The message stated, “I’m from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. I know your address. Should I come over? Just like Salman Khan was shot at, I’ll come to your house and shoot you with an AK-47.” The user also warned, “Say anything about Asim, and your name goes on the list. Lawrence Bishnoi stands with Asim.”
Actor Appeals to Police for Action
Shukla shared a screen recording of the sender’s profile, revealing that the person appears to be from Chandigarh or Mohali. He tagged the Punjab and Chandigarh Police, urging them to take immediate action. “DEATH THREATS to my family! Please act firmly & promptly,” he posted.

Asim Riaz and Rubina’s Battleground Clash
The threat followed a fiery altercation between Rubina Dilaik and Asim Riaz on the reality show Battleground. Asim reportedly questioned Rubina’s authority and insulted her, leading to a serious on-set conflict. Sources claim Asim was eventually asked to leave the show.
