Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill recently gave fans a candid update about her health, sparking both concern and admiration. In a video originally shared on her Instagram Story and later reposted by Telly Chakkar, Shehnaaz revealed that she was suffering from low blood pressure and was on a glucose drip. Despite the discomfort, her trademark humour remained intact.
While lying on a hospital bed, Shehnaaz joked with her friends, asking, “Moti lag rahi hoon?” To which her friends playfully replied, “Drip laga hua hai, par stress hai… moti lag rahi hoon,” showing that her cheerful spirit hasn’t faded, even during recovery. This isn’t her first health scare—nearly two years ago, she was hospitalised with a severe food infection during promotions for Thank You For Coming.
Venturing Into Production with ‘Ikk Kudi’
On the professional front, Shehnaaz is stepping into a new role as a producer with her debut Punjabi film, Ikk Kudi, set for release in September 2025. Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film is co-produced under Raaya Picturez and Amor Film Presents and promises a powerful, women-led narrative. The cast includes Nirmal Rishi, Udaybir Sandhu, and Harby Sangha.
Shehnaaz has also teamed up with Yo Yo Honey Singh for a promotional track for the film. BTS clips show her sporting a bold, Jamaican-inspired look, with cornrows and an orange-black outfit. She praised Honey Singh’s “desi humour,” building anticipation for the quirky collaboration.
Continued Rise in Film and Music
Shehnaaz recently added a Mercedes-Benz GLS to her car collection, valued at over ₹1.34 crore. She continues to grow in the industry, with recent music video Sajna Ve Sajna and Bollywood roles in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Thank You For Coming, steadily expanding her footprint in mainstream cinema.
