Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Anniversary: Karan Veer Mehra’s Powerful Tribute

On the fifth anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, actor and Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra posted a heartfelt tribute that reduced fans and followers to tears. Karan took to Instagram and dedicated a sequence of unseen photographs with the late actor, reminiscing about happy moments and precious memories spent together.

“You Believed in Me When No One Else Did”
In a no-holds-barred caption, Karan called Sushant his “kamini” and shared how much he misses him. “Though this day is a black day throughout my life, this year stings a little more,” he posted. Karan shared that Sushant was the turning point in his career, encouraging him in his dark moments when he was thinking of quitting acting.

I wish I could have shown you this and made you proud. When no one else believed in me, you did. You took everything I didn’t know—math, science, logic—and broke it down for me and sent me on the right path,” he continued.

A Bond Beyond Screen
The two actors have previously collaborated on the popular TV show Pavitra Rishta, and they became close friends off-screen. Karan went on to add that it was Sushant who encouraged him to read more, and this later developed into his passion for writing poetry.

He ended his post with a poignant poem:
“Maine khuda se pucha wo kyun chhod gaya mujhe,
Uski kya majburi thi…
Khuda ne kaha na kasoor tera tha,
Na galti uski thi,
Maine is tahani likhi hi adhuri thi.
