Bollywood superstar Salman Khan got onto a microblogging site to thank his fans and well-wishers for all the prayers and support after he was granted bail.

He wrote, “All those who prayed for and supported me thank u meherbani shukriya.”

Salman, reportedly, was convicted by the session court in the 2002 hit-and-run case and was sentenced to five years of imprisonment.
As per reports, the superstar had then applied for bail at the High Court where his bail was granted and his five-year jail sentence was suspended.
