Ever since Kabir Khan’s Salman, Kareena and Nawaz starrer, BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, released last month, no film has really impressed at the ticket window and in fact new releases have been falling like nine pins.

BROTHERS MOVIE WALLPAPERS |
The saving grace has been the impressive run of SS Rajamoli’s BAHUBALI, which released a week earlier than BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, and has chugged along and touched the 100 crore mark, just from its Hindi dubbed version, while BB raced to 300 crore.
The best performance (from the Hindi releases) came via Nishikant Kamat’s Ajay, Tabu and Shriya starrer DRISHYAM, but it was nothing to write home about as the film may just about manage to cover its cost.
However, the Independence Day week is sure to change all that as the Karan Malhotra directed Akshay, Sidharth and Jacqueline starrer, BROTHERS, looks like a winner.

If the buzz is anything to go by, BROTHERS is all set to open to a good response on the first day (Friday) and pick up substantially on the second day, which happens to be a National holiday (August 15), and continue the good work on Sunday, ending with a bumper weekend haul.
On a side note BROTHERS’ success may well continue a glorious 2015 for Akshay Kumar, following BABY and GABBAR IS BACK and the year is still on for the self-made super star.
