However now some more cheers are awaited from the biggies to follow that are all set to arrive within a month’s space.

‘Big films means big moolah and big moolah means bigger stakes involved. All eyes are today on AGENT VINOD, HOUSEFULL 2 and TEZZ. Bollywood is betting in a big way on these three films as they are highly anticipated and also largely expensive affairs. With top stars like Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn leading from the front for these three films, it is time for some records to be created and broken in quick time,’ informs a trade veteran.

All of this means that while the makers are leaving no stone unturned to give these films an event release, trade is pretty much going through a ‘heart in mouth’ mode to see which way does the business tilt.
”Success of small films is all fine but the wheels of the industry move ahead with biggies. Success of such films means more work for all and that further translates into more revenue being generated,’ the source adds, ”It is very important that these three films work. Also, it would do a lot of good for Saif, Akshay and Ajay as well so that they can consolidate their place further in the Top-10 actors that we have today. Younger breed like Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan are anyways breathing down their neck but this is where the combined experience of this trio, each of whom has been around for 20 years, will come into play.”
