As per media reports, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was directed by a Mumbai Sessions court to appear before it on July 24 to face the start of a fresh trial in the 2002 hit-and-run case.
The incident had killed one person and injured four. It is believed that the actor might face a jail term up to 10 years.
Salman Khan was presented at the court on Friday accompanied by his sisters Alvira Khan and Arpita Khan.
