As Sanjay Dutt celebrated his 65th birthday on Monday, heartfelt wishes and tributes poured in from all quarters. One particularly touching tribute came from veteran actress Saira Banu, who shared a special post featuring her late husband, the legendary actor Dilip Kumar. Taking to Instagram Story, Saira Banu posted an old photograph of Dilip Kumar with a young Sanjay Dutt and accompanied it with a heartwarming message.
Saira Banu wrote, “@duttsanjay has always been like a family to me. My entire family, starting from Ammaji to Aapaji, to Sahib, and to me, we’ve watched him grow from a tiny toddler into the remarkable person he is today.” She also reminisced about fond memories with Sanjay and his late mother, Nargis Dutt. Saira recalled how Nargis would bring Sanjay to their house for functions, and he would adorably declare, “Main Shaila Banu se shaadi karunga” in his cute little voice. She humorously mentioned that Sharmila Tagore and she were Sanjay’s top favorites.
Concluding her message, Saira Banu expressed her heartfelt wishes, “Many hands make light work, and we’ve all cherished being part of his journey. He holds a special place in my heart. With all my love and blessings, I wish him a very happy birthday.”
