The film opened at Rs 7 crore on Friday, saw a solid jump to Rs 11 crore on Saturday, and hit Rs 14.50 crore on Sunday. The trend on weekdays remained healthy. Monday saw collections of Rs 5.50 crore, while Tuesday collected Rs 7.50 crore, followed by Rs 11 crore on Wednesday, and Thursday is estimated to be at Rs 6.75 crore.
Mufasa: The Lion King remains positive in family and children audiences. Competitions, Pushpa 2: The Rule and Baby John, release on December 25 and are likely to face yet another jump in business this second weekend. New Year holidays further boost the collections.
The film is likely to cross Rs 100 crore by January 1 and is projected to settle at a lifetime total of approximately Rs 125 crore, securing a “super-hit” status.
