Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, this mass action drama film with Kiccha Sudeep in the lead role, along with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, and Anirudh Bhat, is creating history at the box office, dominating theaters more than a week since its Christmas Day record-breaking release on December 25, 2024.
Competing against Upendra’s UI, Max opened to the biggest opening day in Kannada cinema history and has now emerged as the highest-grossing Kannada movie of 2024. The film is being hailed as powerful content in a commercial entertainer format that needed to add wind back to the sails of the Kannada film industry, which ended rather disappointingly for fans after Dhruva Sarja’s Martin.
