Television actor Aasif Sheikh, best known for his role as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra on the popular TV show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on set while shooting in Dehradun. The actor, who was filming an intense fight sequence for the show, reportedly began feeling unwell and suddenly fainted on set. According to sources close to the production, Aasif’s health deteriorated during the shoot, and he was immediately given medical attention.
Health Update from Aasif Sheikh
Hours after the news broke, Aasif Sheikh shared a health update with his fans. In a statement, he explained the cause of his sudden collapse, revealing that he had been experiencing numbness in his foot followed by sciatica pain, which worsened the situation. “I was shooting for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain at Dehradun and there I started feeling numbness in my foot and then sciatica pain made the situation worse,” Aasif shared.
The actor further added, “I was brought on a wheelchair to Mumbai and now I have been advised complete bed rest. I landed here on the 18th and since then I am taking rest, and my treatment is on. I think for one more week, I will take rest and hope I will be soon in front of the camera.” Aasif was flown to Mumbai for further medical care after his initial check-up in Dehradun.
Immediate Medical Attention and Recovery
A source close to the production team confirmed that Aasif had fainted on the set due to exhaustion. He was immediately rushed to a doctor for proper medical attention and was later transferred to Mumbai for further treatment. An entertainment industry insider told Zoom, “The shoot involved intense fight sequences, which took a toll on Aasif’s health. After collapsing, he was given immediate medical care and later shifted to Mumbai for further treatment.”
