Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are set to feature in the much-awaited untitled musical saga by Anurag Basu. The film was officially announced a few months ago in February, and there has been a buzz ever since. Today, Kartik surprised his fans by posting a first-look photo of the film featuring his co-star, Sreeleela.
First Look Shared on Instagram
On March 28, Kartik and Sreeleela posted a fresh still from their forthcoming film on Instagram. Kartik is looking at Sreeleela romantically while she keeps her head down. The backdrop of the scene is set against the lush, peaceful tea gardens of Siliguri, Darjeeling, and provides a beautiful landscape to the romantic scene. Tea glasses are left in between them, making the scene all the more warm and intimate. Kartik captioned the post using the words, “Tu Meri Zindagi Hai” (followed by an emoji of a heart in flames), which is a hit song from the movie, sung by Vishal Mishra’s melancholy voice and scored by Pritam.

The moment Kartik shared the post, fans flooded the comment section with excitement. One user commented, “The most awaited love story,” another was excited about the chemistry between the two stars, commenting, “I am very excited to see the chemistry between you two in this film.” Others couldn’t help but swoon over the beautiful tea garden location and the pair’s cuteness.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie stars Kartik as a singing sensation. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, under T-Series Films & Anurag Basu Productions, and will be presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series. The film will release this Diwali in opposition to Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thama.
