Preetika Rao, who is most famous for playing Aaliya in the hit TV series Beintehaa, recently caused controversy after vehemently responding to a fan page posting romantic scenes of her and co-star Harshad Arora. Even though their on-screen couple remains very popular, Preetika has made it known that she no longer wishes such content to be shared.
The row started when a fan page shared some old videos of Beintehaa, praising the chemistry between Zain (Harshad) and Aaliya (Preetika). But Preetika went on a rampage in the comments section, accusing the page of disrespecting her repeated requests not to share such videos. She also made shocking personal accusations against Harshad Arora, saying he “sleeps with every woman he finds in the industry.”
Going on social media, Preetika posted, “For posting these videos on your page when I have time and again asked you not to post my videos with a man who sleeps with every woman he comes across in the industry!” She then advised the page that they were defying her desires and would “face karma” for doing that. Stressing that the intimate scenes were simply part of the script, she felt strongly disturbed by their continued sharing.
Preetika and Harshad, who have been missing in action together ever since the show went off-air, do not seem to be following each other on Instagram, indicating a tense equation after the show. Harshad Arora has recently married actress Muskaan Rajput in December 2024 and was last seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

Beintehaa, which was telecast from December 2013 to November 2014, was a favorite among viewers, with its different storyline and new jodi. The show also had Shivangi Joshi and Vikas Grover playing important roles.
