The highly anticipated fourth season of popular comedy-drama series Panchayat is coming sooner than anticipated. The producers officially declared on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, that the new season will premiere on June 24, 2025, rather than its initially planned release date of July 2. The news came along with the launch of the official trailer of the show, creating immense excitement among fans.
This shift in release date comes after a very special interactive campaign titled “Vote for Date,” in which fans engaged online to pick the premier date of the show. A massive response from fans motivated an early release, much to their surprise. After the announcement, social media erupted with enthusiastic reactions, memes, and heartfelt posts regarding the new season.
The just-released trailer gives us a sneak peek into the core of Panchayat Season 4 the Pradhan elections in the imaginary village of Phulera. Manju Devi (played by Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) are observed engaged in an intense but comic election fight. The trailer also gives us a hint about the growing romance between Sachiv ji aka Abhishek (Jitendra Kumar) and Rinki (Sanvikaa), which introduces a nice, sentimental aspect to the season.
The series continues to offer a mix of satire, small-town character, and emotional complexity. Developed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, and produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), the show is still one of India’s favorite OTT properties. It has an outstanding ensemble cast consisting of Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Ashok Pathak, Durgesh Kumar, and others.
