Director Sekhar Kammula’s highly anticipated crime thriller Kuberaa is all ready to release on the big screens on June 20, and buzz for the film remains high. With a star-studded cast like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna, the movie touches on intense themes within a socially engaging storyline, mixing crime, drama, and emotional depth.
Pre-Booking Opens with Dynamic Ticket Pricing
Pre-bookings for Kuberaa have started in Hyderabad prior to its theatrical release, with dynamic pricing. Ticket prices for single-screen theaters are between Rs. 150 and Rs. 175, while multiplex tickets are priced between Rs. 250 and Rs. 295, as per Andhra Box Office. The pricing is based on high demand and expectations for the movie.
Trailer Generates Suspense Over Social Thriller
The newly launched 2-minute 38-second trailer has created buzz for offering a new-age storyline. Dhanush plays a beggar who must contend with a dark world, and Nagarjuna’s figure comes into the picture bringing mystery through a shadowy, unexplained persona. Rashmika Mandanna brings emotional depth, grounding the film with dignity in the midst of turmoil.
OTT Pressure and Budget Concerns
The movie has not been controversy-free. The producer came out recently to say that the OTT partner of the film, Prime Video, gave a stern warning to deduct Rs. 10 crore from their current deal if the movie was postponed beyond its released date. The budgeted film was originally Rs. 100 crore, but Kuberaa went overboard and cost as high as Rs. 120 crore, piling extra financial pressure on the makers.
