After a three-year hiatus, the beloved annual reunion of Indian cinema’s 1980s stars made a dazzling comeback — this time with a wild twist. The theme for this year’s gathering was animal prints, and the glamorous icons of the golden era showed up in style, leaving fans thrilled with glimpses from the nostalgic evening.
Held at the Chennai residence of actor-director Rajkumar Sethupathy and Sripriya, the reunion brought together a star-studded list of actors who once ruled the silver screen. Among those present were Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Jackie Shroff, Prabhu, Naresh, Suresh, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Shobana, Khushboo, Meena Sagar, Radha, Jayasudha, Suhasini, and Nadhiya, among others.
Megastar Chiranjeevi shared joyful pictures from the event on Instagram, writing, “Every reunion with my beloved friends from the 80s is a walk down memory lane, filled with laughter, warmth, and the same unbreakable bond we’ve shared for decades. So many beautiful memories, and yet every meet feels as fresh as the first!”
Actress Revathy also gave fans a sneak peek into the evening, posting photos along with a heartfelt note: “An evening meeting friends we otherwise hardly meet… people we have worked with… the only group that meets over 12 years… Class of ’80s ROCK!!!”

This reunion tradition, ongoing for over a decade, is lovingly organized by a dedicated team including Lissy Lakshmi, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Khushbu Sundar, and Suhasini Mani Ratnam. The last gathering was hosted in 2022 by Jackie Shroff in Mumbai and featured several North and South Indian film legends.
The 2025 reunion wasn’t just about fashion and nostalgia — it celebrated enduring friendships, shared memories, and the timeless charm of cinema’s most iconic generation.
